Refund & Cancellation Policy

1) Scope
This policy explains how refunds, cancellations, and billing adjustments work for purchases of credits and subscriptions on AIVid. It should be read together with our Terms of Service, including Acceptable Use (Content Safety) and DMCA & Takedown. For support, visit AIVid. Support.
2) Definitions
- Credits: Units you spend to generate or process content.
- Subscription: Time-based access to features/credits that automatically renews unless cancelled.
- Use: Any content generation or service access initiated by your account (as evidenced by our system logs).
- Payment Processor / Storefront: Third-party payment providers or app stores (e.g., Apple App Store, Google Play) that process your purchase.
3) Cooling-Off & Digital Content Exception
If consumer laws where you live grant a cooling-off period (commonly 14 days), you may cancel within that period provided you have not begun receiving digital content or services. Once you start using credits or trigger a generation, you acknowledge that the digital content/service has begun and the cooling-off right no longer applies. Mandatory local consumer protections always prevail.
4) When Refunds Are Typically Considered
Subject to the rules below and verification of your account activity/logs, AIVid. may approve a refund when:
- Unused credit packs: The purchase is within 14 days and no credits were used.
- First subscription purchase: Within 14 days and unused; the cooling-off right does not repeat at each renewal.
- Technical delivery issues: You paid, but access or credits were not delivered due to a system error. We may re-deliver, re-credit, or refund.
- Pre-orders: You can cancel any time before content/service is delivered; after delivery, standard rules apply.
- Clearly unauthorized or duplicate charges: After investigation and confirmation.
5) What Isn't Refundable
- Used credits or any purchase where content generation/service access has begun.
- Unused time in an active subscription period (we do not refund remaining days after a period starts).
- Requests submitted more than 60 days after the original charge (tax-only corrections included).
- Customized enterprise/contracted services, unless your agreement says otherwise.
- Promotional/bonus credits, expired credits, or accounts suspended for AUP/DMCA violations.
6) Subscription Renewals & Cancellations
- Subscriptions auto-renew on the renewal date.
- To avoid renewal, cancel at least 48 hours before the end of the current billing period.
- When you cancel, access stays active until the current period ends (unless you choose immediate cancellation, which ends access at once).
- We do not refund the unused remainder of a billing period.
7) Partial Refunds, Proration & Plan Changes
- We don't prorate or cash-refund unused subscription time.
- We may issue partial refunds or account credits only to correct clear billing errors (e.g., duplicate charge, wrong amount) or in other exceptional cases approved by AIVid.
- Upgrades may be charged immediately (and take effect right away). Downgrades take effect at the next renewal unless we state otherwise.
8) Taxes (VAT/GST/Sales Tax)
If you were incorrectly charged tax or later provide valid tax details, you may request a tax-only adjustment within 60 days of purchase by contacting support with documentation. We don't process tax adjustments requested after 60 days unless required by law.
9) Chargebacks (Disputes via Your Bank)
Please contact AIVid. Support first so we can investigate and resolve issues quickly. Filing an invalid chargeback may lead to suspension of access and/or future purchasing restrictions. We reserve the right to contest unfounded disputes.
10) How to Request a Refund or Cancel
- Gather your order ID, account email, and a brief description of the issue.
- Submit a request via our Support Center (choose "Billing & Refunds").
- We aim to acknowledge within 2 business days and resolve eligible requests within 14 days.
- Approved refunds are sent to the original payment method. Posting times to your bank/card vary by provider.
App store purchases: If you bought via Apple App Store or Google Play, their policies apply and refunds must be requested through the respective store. We can assist, but cannot override store rules.
11) Effects of Refunds & Cancellations
When a transaction is refunded or a subscription is cancelled: related licenses may be terminated, credits adjusted, and access to refunded content/services may be removed or limited to prevent misuse. Previously generated assets and files may remain available where permitted by law and our Terms, but AIVid. may restrict access to content tied to refunded transactions.
12) Governing Law & Local Rights
Unless mandatory consumer laws in your location say otherwise, this policy and any disputes are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, and the courts of Istanbul (Çağlayan) have jurisdiction. Nothing here limits non-waivable consumer rights.
13) Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date will change when we do. Material changes generally apply going forward and won't retroactively affect a completed refund, unless the change is more favorable to you.
